Lylyth Finished, Again

Huzzah!  Except for the one armor panel I see I missed, I do believe I’m happy with Lylyth at this point.

I hit the armor with Gryphonne Sepia, but I’m not sure it did much.  I then did a bold highlight of the armor plates in Burnished Gold.  I also painted the rope-y doodad hanging from her waist in white.  Lastly, I put down a heavy grey drybrush on the cloak to weather it a bit.

  • Maybe it's just me, but the gold looks Yellow? Might be flash the camera too. I like the weathering on the cloak :D. It's subtle, but gives the right impression.

      

  • Yeah, I'll likely hit the armor with a wash to tone it back down just a tad. The pictures make it a bit more glaring than I had intended.

    I had been toying with a bit of weathering on the cloak, and everyone;s comments helped me make up my mind.

      

  • I love the cloak. It looks exactly like what your boots look like when you've been through snow and muck. Your scheme is already so icy and cold I think it looks perfect.
